Who can't live without your product/service?

Influencer and Content Marketers.

Greatest company accomplishment:

Happy clients that extend & renew.

What makes you guys sweat at night?

How do we continue to provide the results that our clients have come to expect as we scale our business? (also, if the room is warmer than 68 degrees)

Biggest competitor(s)?

Micro-Influencer Networks and Platforms (but they are also great clients!)

How are you better?

We connect with more users than any social media or content platforms which means more reach, more views, and more engagement with predictable & efficient market-based pricing. Campaigns and programs launch instantly and evergreen programs with large and even entire paid media budgets are just as easy to run as short ones.

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

Ad Fraud.

If your company were to have to have a mascot, what would it be?

A dancing pickle.

2-sentence company description:

Choose your own adventure interactive video platform.

Who can't live without your product/service?

Creatives who want to tell deeper, more engaging stories and creative executives who want to increase their content effectiveness & monetization opportunities.

Because a new generation of consumers is growing up with the expectation of interactivity, relevance and control. Using a medium built 70 years ago for one way, didactic communication (traditional video) is no longer an option.

Greatest company accomplishment:

Being the first company ever to serve completely interactive pre-roll ads.

What makes you guys sweat at night?

No AC!

Biggest competitor(s)?

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

2-sentence company description:

Apester is a platform for creation, distribution and monetizing of experiantial, interactive content, that helps publishers attend to the challenges of a shifting paradigm in digital publishing industry - to the "single unit economy"

Who can't live without your product/service?

Any digital publisher that want to make their users engage more, stay longer, read more, share more, increase social engagement and reach, by adding an experiantial and interactive layers to their content

Why can't they live without you?

Because the paradigm on digital publishing is shifting to a point where publishers must be able to serve their content, with the revenue and data it generates, anywhere - and it's a big change that as an industry, it's harder to make. 3rd party tools that are geared for solving those problems are becoming essential

Greatest company accomplishment:

Powered Time Person of The Year, gathered more than a billion engagements, predicted Brexit and Trump, knew that The Dress was actually blue and black

What makes you guys sweat at night?

NY summer, with the AC broken? Seriously speaking, the fact that our space is super attractive (which is good and adds pressure), and how some publishers are still hanging onto old habits

Biggest competitor(s)?

Any 3rd party vendor who competes for (a) the publisher's attention in the meeting room and (b) the user's attention on the page

How are you better?

Our vision for how and when and where we can help publishers thrive while also tapping into a need from the user's side is always a step and a half before most of our competitors and the space in general. We manifast it with a great UX and design, awesome service and premium performance.

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

Playful, meaningful, snakable. When it comes to storytelling (another buzzword), people are throwing those out there without really understading what it means and how they are affecting the space

If your company were to have to have a mascot, what would it be?

An APE, obviously! :)

Branch provides the leading mobile deep linking platform with solutions that unify mobile user experience and measurement across different devices, platforms and channels. Branch powers deep links for over 2 billion monthly users across the globe and is a trusted solution for over 24,000 apps including Airbnb, BuzzFeed, Jet, Pinterest, Target, Yelp and many more to grow and stay engaged with their mobile audience.

Who can't live without your product/service?

Mobile marketers who are looking to create a cross-channel mobile marketing strategy and to measure the results across channels and platforms - including mobile web to app, email, social, paid, and organic.
App developers who're looking to drive organic growth with great mobile user experiences.

Why can't they live without you?

The introduction of mobile has fragmented today's businesses, causing broken links everywhere with inaccurate attribution, which leads to wasted marketing spend and less than optimal user experience. Branch fixes that by providing a robust linking solution that works across all marketing channels while providing a holistic view of various user touchpoints.
For app developers, the cost to acquire a quality user base can be daunting. But with Branch, they can easily build features like sharing, referral programs to drive viral growth.

Greatest company accomplishment:

Branch's mobile linking infrastructure powers unified experiences and measurement for over 24,000 apps in less than two years' time, including top mobile brands like Airbnb, BuzzFeed, Jet, Pinterest, Target, Yelp and many more.

What makes you guys sweat at night?

The most important value we uphold at Branch is being "Partners First", and by partners we mean customers. Our team's mission is to make the lives easier for mobile marketers and developers. That means making sure our links always work and delivering a great user experience anytime, on any platform. That means dealing with a fast-changing ecosystem and adapting the Branch deep linking technology to work all the time to give our partners the peace of mind.

Biggest competitor(s)?

We are in a fast-evolving space - while there are a few small competitors in the linking space like Tapstream and Yozio; and Google Firebase is a loose competitor on our most basic offerings. But when it comes to Premium Solutions like Deep Linked Email or Journeys Web to App, we don't really have a direct competitor.

How are you better?

Branch provides the most robust deep linking platform and our core deep linking technology is and will always be free. Branch Premium Solutions provide unique capabilities for enterprise companies to integrate app marketing with all other marketing channels (email, social media, SEM, etc.) through a wide range of partnership with leading email service providers and ad networks. Branch provides the best Integrate Support to all partners, regardless if you're using the free products or the premium solutions. Branch powers two billions deep links per day and has the best matching accuracy in the industry. All of these make Branch stand out.

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

Mobile First. Every single brand should be mobile first in 2017. Mobile devices are so prominent where people spend over 65% of their times in apps. It's longer necessary to distinguish that you are focusing on mobile but rather should be integrated into the digital marketing strategies for every company.

If your company were to have to have a mascot, what would it be?

A Honey Badger - because we keep persisting to achieve our goals no matter what?

Citia helps brands tell big stories in small pieces that go everywhere, enabling beautiful and engaging card-based content for a whole new era of digital publishing.

Who can't live without your product/service?

Brands and content publishers who need to reach customers, wherever their eyeballs have gone!

Why can't they live without you?

The custom-tech model is broken. Expensive, slow, often broken and has limited reach. Our SaaS model is much faster, much cheaper, and most importantly they can get their reach back.

Greatest company accomplishment:

Making content so app-like beautiful in every platform that the most demanding agencies love it!.

What makes you guys sweat at night?

Frankly, despite the massive attention shifts, very few agencies and brands seem to understand that social is a new media plan. And, using digital holistically can cause brand and agency turf conflicts that are time-consuming to resolve.

Biggest competitor(s)?

As the only multi-platform SaaS business, our competitor is "build it yourself tech." Non-tech companies have been sold that tech-making (rather than tech-using) is a critical competency and some still believe that.

How are you better?

Our product is cheaper, in market overnight, more beautiful and runs on most everything. Card based approach generates multi-purpose social units and because they take interest back to their exact location in a beautiful "macro-site", there's no longer a need for micro-sites.

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

"We need a social strategy" Or, when "disrupters" say "mass media" in that snide and critical way-implying a stupid dinosaur. I'd like to see them make their numbers for a hundred quarters selling sugary beverages!.

Big brands who care about word-of-mouth from their best, most authentic customer advocates. Brands that send traffic to third-party sites like Amazon, influencer-hosted content, curated content across social channels, links that go to Youtube, and more.

Why can't they live without you?

Greatest company accomplishment:

What makes you guys sweat at night?

Moving too slowly. Keeping our focus on what's essential and not what's merely interesting. Wool Snuggies.

Biggest competitor(s)?

There are plenty of well-funded and recently acquired giant swiss army knives in the influencer space that do a little bit of everything.

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

"Influencer database" The idea that there's a rentable group of people (owned by a third party) who will be influential about anything they're given free samples of. Getting people who don't care about your brand to say things they don't mean to people they don't know doesn't work, even if it'll trick a vanity metric.

2-sentence company description:

Shareablee is the leading provider of social business intelligence. Our platform measures the world's social interactions with global brands to uncover what makes content shareable.

Who can't live without your product/service?

Despite diligent efforts, Fortune 1000 brands (and beyond) struggle with less than 1% content engagement on social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others, leaving massive untapped value and marketing dollars on the table. 30MM potential social impressions are wasted every minute by Fortune 1000 brands alone, because brands across all verticals do not halexave insights into how to improve their results!

Why can't they live without you?

We asked and brand marketers told us! In a recent joint survey with comScore, over 600 marketers representing leading brands across 15 industries answered three benchmarking questions about how effective their current social marketing strategies are. While only 33% felt that they understood how to measure their own social activities, when asked about how well they understand their competitors social performance on key measures, merely 11% had some awareness and when asked about their level of insight into their audience's loyalty vs. competitors, only 7% had any knowledge. The proof is in the numbers.

Greatest company accomplishment:

In our first year, we have established ourselves as a provider that brand marketers can trust as the first place to go when they think about how to measure their social efforts. Our enterprise cloud-based Social Loyalty? Platform is already being used by thought-leading global brands and agencies including Samsung, the NBA, Bloomberg, DISH Networks, The Economist Magazine, Comcast, Turner Entertainment, TV Azteca, Liberty Mutual International, and Time Inc., among others.

What makes you guys sweat at night?

Shareablee was born out of one simple question that turned out to not be that simple: What makes social content shareable? Our mission is to unpack actionable strategies that help marketers understand why content succeeds in a data-driven way.

Biggest competitor(s)?

Inaction. Social Media is still a new marketing vehicle and as we found in the survey results shared above, a majority of brands aren't aware of how to improve their social performance. As brands strive to grow their social audiences, there will be a growing need to improve strategies for social ROI.

How are you better?

We'd be happy to show you! We're available anytime :)

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

"Social Buzz", being a data-driven company, the term buzz by definition is somewhat vague. We focus on helping brands drive engagement so they know exactly how they stack up, and what, specifically really moves the needle.

If your company were to have to have a mascot, what would it be?

Unicorn.

Who can't live without your product/service?

Marketing executives at big brands and advertising agencies.

Marketing executives can't quantify the impacts of their sponsorships on their target audiences without our data science. And they can't improve what they can't measure.

Greatest company accomplishment:

Quantifying the dollar value of a marketing tactic that was 'prohibited' at the last minute... and subsequently using that quantification to help a client receive a sizable reimbursement for their loss!

What makes you guys sweat at night?

NOTHING!

Biggest competitor(s)?

How are you better?

We aren't restricted to monitoring only 'internet-based' communication channels -- we measure sentiment and influence impacts across ALL channels of public communication, filter out the 'noise', quantify the business impact (in dollars), and deliver a truly 'actionable' result.

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

"It's a 'social media' world!"

If your company were to have to have a mascot, what would it be?

Because messaging is where all of their consumers are spending most of their time. 2bn consumers are now on these platforms. And because messaging is where pop culture is currently being brewed.

Greatest company accomplishment:

Developing IP in famously secretive platforms that no one else has.

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

Devil's advocate. Just own your disagreement. It's healthier

A cheeky monkey. GIF, meme, messaging and dark social are all about banter, humor and taking risks. If you don't jump in you won't see the reward.

The 8Cloud data system enables customer micro targetting and tracks the engagement, clicks and transactions across every post on all social platforms whilst giving the brand complete creative control.

Who can't live without your product/service?

In the absence of a system that enables a direct relationship at scale, where the customer is valued and rewarded, it is a one way communication. And this is not a relationship. Brands need to have the data in their own 8Cloud system to know who their customers are and what they care about.

Why can't they live without you?

In the absence of a system that enables a direct relationship at scale, where the customer is valued and rewarded, it is a one way communication. And this is not a relationship. Brands need to have the data in their own 8Cloud system to know who their customers are and what they care about.

Greatest company accomplishment:

Building the system that can transform the relationships between brands and customers at scale. And the integration of the social impact (cause) component so that brands can understand what their customers care about and help them personally make impact.

What makes you guys sweat at night?

Capital raising, running fast enough and how we can help brands see the power of our system.

Biggest competitor(s)?

There is lots of noise in the influencer space and this creates confusion for potential customers. It seems everyone has an influencer team and platform, but there are no systems that have solved the attribution challenge for brands in the way we have. The fact that we view customers as the brands largest advocates, and give them the framework to incentivize and reward them at scale is a massive differentiator.

How are you better?

Our system shows performance across all digital buying metrics - CPC. CPE, CPA.
You get the customer data back into your own environment.
You can incentivize people to post by donating to a cause they care about - brands working together with people to make positive impact is powerful for everyone.

Most hated buzzword/phrase:

We are in the business of connecting brands with people, but the word 'influencer' is overused.

If your company were to have to have a mascot, what would it be?

Wow - I have not given this much thought, but valuing humanity and rewarding people for their creativity and influence is fundamental to our business. So perhaps the human mind - and a heart!
